Eye drainage problem, but not infected?

Can I nail down real hardwood flooring over my existing glued down engineered hardwood flooring?

I have engineered wood flooring glued to a slab on grade sub floor. We want to remove this and install a thin profile (that is rated and acceptable for concrete sub floor installation) hardwood flooring. However, the cost and hle to remove the existing engineered wood flooring is more than the new hardwood itself. Could I simply add an additional layer of plywood on top of the existing engineered hardwood (to get the correct height for nails) and treat this as my sub floor, ready for new installation?

Also if the technician found a cyst they would need to gather as much information about it like the dimensions, borders, transparency, blood flow, etc. So that the radiologist can make a better informed diagnosis. Thyroid US is not a routine exam so obviously there is something in that area or in your symptoms that prompted the test in the first place. Besides nothing can be 100% diagnosed without a biopsy, everything else is strong speculation.

There happens to be two spare beds in my home at the moment. I have a friend who rented a room from me a while back and he asked me if a two of his friends could stay in my place for a week. I have notice Doctors doing this as well and not just for pain medications. However, particularly with pain medication they need to follow up each month to revisit the level of pain etc. While some/OK most of us believe this is for the co-pay or payment, with the new laws Doctors have a legitimate concern over covering their behinds when writing prescriptions of any sort. I've fished in many waters around the country and fishing in NY is equal to, if not better than southern and western lakes. But for size, it's lake Erie all the way, especially the eastern basin. There aren't many people who fish that lake (very underfished for it's size), and most people ignore Largemouth and Pike opting for smallies and walleye. I've caught Largemouth in excess of 8 pounds from some of the shallower areas along the Niagara River. I've caught many a pike over 40 inches, and they still get bigger! If you're looking for a world record experience however, the St. Lawrence River offers a real shot on every cast of a world record pike or musky! Makes me sad to be moving to Georgia really! New York has a LOT of fish, but not a whole heck of a lot of job opportunities! lol

Dog has a cold?

I have a 10 month old Yellow lab boxer mix. He is close to 70 lbs. We took him to his dog sitter who has plenty of acres for him to run outside. He even ran through the creek and pretty much was active for the 9 hours he was there. We live in upstate newyork so it is quite chilly. Starting on friday we noticed he was hacking and when he would have something come up it looked green like flem. Its hard for him to breathe but his nose seems pretty wet and he isnt acting out of the ordinary. He is eating his food fine. It has been better today and he only has started his doggie cough when he runs. What is it and what causes it?

The oil light in my car is blinking erraticallly and I don't know why.?

I drive a 96 mazda 626. I noticed yesterday that my oil light is blinking on and off really erratically. Usually if one of my warning lights comes on it stays on and doesn't ever blink. My engine is also smoky after I've been driving it a while. I had my oil changed about two weeks ago. I checked the oil yesterday and the level was fine. Could the oil still be the problem? Is there some valve the oil changers didn't close properly perhaps? Also, I had my water pump belt and my power steering belt replaced last week. Could that be the problem?

Well you can blame the school board that no one would second the motion, OR you can accept the idea that everyone looks equal. They wanted everyone to wear the same outfit and show a form of unity to their cl. This in no way bothers me. Everyone wore a cap and gown when I graduated, and I think that is the best way to do it. What if I had become a volunteer fireman and wanted to wear my outfit for that? Would people make an issue? Am I not doing as much for the Country? Funny thing happens to my voice when I sing above Tenor C Is this bad?

I've only been in vocal training for 3 weeks. My acer notebook wont start up... Any help?

It had a virus and I installed webroot on it again to help take care of it. It was purchased a little more than a year ago, July of 2009. How do I get my ducks and geese to go into the creek?

I have 5 ducks (2 pekin, 2 cayuga, 1 rouen) and 4 geese (2 tolouse, 2 embdens) that are all about 4 weeks old. They are big and feathered, and they come out of their shed during the day and wander and eat and graze together. so long as you have a proper converter to work it. I'd suggest a 1/4 inch to xlr cable. So long as no wires are snagged or bent, it'll work. Results may be odd, depending what you do to it. I'd recomend doing the guitar track, then going back with some audio editing tools on the recording, like 8 bit distortion or heavy flange/phaser while running a split signal through a vibrato system.

Dying out brains, help?

Do you get enough physical exercise? Any kind of sporting activity is great for the brain! It really does work. Anything like swimming, running, cycling, tennis. It's all good for getting the brains circuits running smoothly. Diet is also very important. Make sure you get enough fruit and veg every day. And fish contains natural oils that help the brain work better. The other thing is make sure you are getting enough sleep each night. And doing creative activities and reading (especially fiction). Listening to music also helps.. especially clical music.. I recommend JS Bach, Mozart, Handel and Chopin. Listening to music by these composers has been proven to improve the functioning of the brain.

Bathroom decor ideas (rainforest look)?

I would really like to do my bathroom in a rainforest kind of theme. Not like a corny childrens rainforest look or things with monkeys and stuff. I would like it to look cly but earthy and clean. Our older cat's behavior radically changed after the birth of our twins. What should we do?

Three years ago, we had twins. Since then, one of our cats has completely lost it (we've caught her on video so we know which one it is). Frequent urination all over the house, refusal to poop in the litter box (she'll do it right outside or sometimes in another part of the house altogether), etc. If she can get into the kids' room or anywhere near one of their blankets, she will make an extra effort to empty a full bladder. We keep our bed covered in plastic and can't leave any cloth items on the floor anywhere in the house (including bath mats). This cat has peed on expensive furniture, including a glider and a sofa. We've tried behavior modification, but with two toddlers in the house our ability to deal with this problem is limited.This cat was a beloved, constant companion for 13 years, but she is now 16 and has been trouble for the last three years. Should we put her to sleep or let her live out her years? No one would adopt her -- she is old, arthritic and pees everywhere!

What color granite counters/ tile floors to go with dark cherry cabinets?

I prefer granite on the dark side, while my husband likes colors in the mid-tone brown/tan range. We both like bursts of accent colors (blue, red, green) in the granite, preferrably all three. As for the tile, I'm rather inclined to a natural slate tone (which is also rather variagated), but it seems like it would be too dark with the dark cabinets. I was thinking pale/mid-tone teal and/or green for the wall color, to contrast/ coordinate with the red tones in the cherry, as well as the predominantly gold walls throughout the rest of the house.

The coming cold and snowy winter will be our first in an apartment. Our bedroom has an east and a north-facing window with multiple panes. Our landlord will let us do anything to reduce utility bills. We have a gas heater that gives radiant heat--it is situated between the kitchen and the bedroom. It is a one bedroom unit and we share only one wall with another tenant. This is at 7500+ foot elevation and at times we'll have 3 ft. of snow on the ground.

How do I get myself back to the gym?

I started going to the gym in at the beginning of the month then I got the flu and then my period. So for almost 3 weeks I've felt like garbage. I've been totally munching out on bread and junk food and sleeping all day before I have to go to work and before I was up early and at the gym. Given I had only been going for a week before I got sick but it felt really good. I feel so lazy again. HELP!!!

When is it safe to make baby food?

My daughter is 5 months old, and is on 2 solid meals a day (in addition to her regular formula bottles), which she loves and gobbles down with glee. I currently feed her special organic food (no additives), but I'd love to make my own flavors for her. My husband is set against this, though, and believes that she will surely get gastroenteritis from food that I make. She is a healthy girl, and I currently sterilize everything I can that comes in contact with her food. At what point is it safe to make your own baby food? I umed now, but my husband (who is a doctor) was so set against it that he threw out my entire pot full of sweet potato/squash/carrot/pear puree that I had made tonight for her (and for which I am rather angry at him). I know he's trying to protect her, but I think that's a bit insane- or am I wrong?
