What's the difference between the orthodox Christian view of the resurrection of Jesus and Jehovah's Witnesses?

I agree with you 100%. The JW's present Jesus' resurrection as him rising as a spirit creature and that creature being Michael the Archangel. This is in direct conflict with Luke 24 as Jesus, himself appeared before the disciples and had a verbal exchange where Jesus told them that he was not a spirit but was flesh and bones. He went as far as to sit with them and eat. This clearly makes his body a material body and makes the JW's doctrine of a spirit resurrection a false doctrine. They make Jesus out to be a liar. The resurrection is such a vital part of the Christian faith. The JW's go outside of the bible to make this determination. They tell us that God took care of the body and this is the reason there was no body found in the tomb. No where in the bible does it even suggest such an event. It goes from his death to his resurrection to him not being in the tomb and and angel telling Mary he has risen and then he was seen in his flesh, physical not a spirit.
