I have a 1993 Australian Ford Falcon..?

My 1993 Australian Ford Falcon's engine recently stopped and could not be restarted despite the replacement of all the electrical and electronic bits comprising the ignition system. When the engine management computer was relieved of some of its stray codes and numbers the engine worked perfectly. Are there any experts who know about the ideosyncracies of the computer and how to avoid its unreliability?
