What do you think of this photo of the Royal Palace in Madrid, is there too much contrast ?

Contrast on the building isn't bad, there is no real loss of detail. The foreground shadow works well, but you might have done better if you'd waited for a more interesting grouping of people. The sky is a little bit overdone for my taste but I have to admit it adds to the drama.
