How do I get my ducks and geese to go into the creek?

I have 5 ducks (2 pekin, 2 cayuga, 1 rouen) and 4 geese (2 tolouse, 2 embdens) that are all about 4 weeks old. They are big and feathered, and they come out of their shed during the day and wander and eat and graze together. We have a shallow creek about 20 feet from their shed, and I've tried herding them into it, but they want nothing to do with it, so I bought a kiddie pool, and they wont go near that either. Any suggestions? I want them to go in the creek, cuz otherwise I have to fill 3 containers of water twice a day for them.
