DOCTOR SAYS TO STAY POSITIVE 2 HELP MY SEVERE FIBROMYALGIA!what????
Nearly every pain therapy that exists has been tried with fibromyalgia, and nearly every conceivable treatment has worked for at least some people, so finding an effective treatment seems to be trial and error. For the most part, nothing works perfectly, but some treatments seem to knock it into remission at least for a while. About half the time, a combination of tramadol and acetaminophen works as well as any other pain medication. Some people have excellent results with mage therapy, stretching, and aerobic exercise. Anntidepressants and related drugs are also effective in some people - not because they are depressed, but the drugs seem to reduce the threshold where the brain registers an impulse as pain. Some people also find some relief by taking a mineral supplement containing calcium, magnesium, and zinc with meals. The site at the link has up to date info on the most recent treatments:
